"So you're telling me you made a friend? You...Benedict actually made a friend, that's not Konki and that wont kick your behind halfway across Undergound Tokyo?" Benedict's younger sister pestered her brother about him making friends. He ignored her remarks the first few times, but she got really annoying. He couldn't yell at her of course, since she was the only one who knew about his life as a thief, and he couldn't risk his father finding out.
"Yes I did" He smiled at her sarcastically "Are you happy now?"
"So how did you meet him? What was it...Wayt?" his sister continued but this time the topic appealed to Benedict, since he actually wanted to share his adventure with someone, and Konki was busy lately. So he sat down with his sister, on a bench in the park where they were walking and began "First of all his name is Wyatt and he was supposed to be my victim. I just got a job from my boss. Pretty simple actually. I had to steal an ornament skull with a jewel on it, return it and get the money. Just like any other job. But this one was different, and I knew I'm gonna regret it. So I talked to my "rat" and he told me the owner of this ornament was a mad spark, some creep that talks to himself and everyone in a five mile radius avoid. He also told me that this spark lived alone. And I rushed to the job, since stealing from a lunatic would probably be the easiest thing I've ever done. Oh, was I wrong? I entered the house easily, through the window and I left no prints or tracks behind. It was perfectly done just like any other job. I found the skull while my unaware victim was sleeping and was about to go out and get my deserved payment. On my way out I felt a strange sensation, like I was being watched. I turned around to notice just some green glowing light. I freaked out and before I knew it I was cornered by a wall. Its like Wyatt appeared out of nowhere, and I knew i screwed up . He was a Necromancer! Of course. I was so stupid not to check his background before I rushed in. I felt embaressed but I was going out of that house with the skull. So I tried to pull off my usual cons and frauds" he was interrupted by his sisters giggle. She found it funny how Benedict was proud of him acting like an officer, or a rockstar in given situations, when he was only making a fool of himself. He sighed and continued "As I was saying, that didn't work out. He wasn't easy to fool. So I was going to try to run when this guy started interrogating me. Im serious. When you see a thief in your house you call the scouts, you don't ask them about their favorite color or their first wife. I'm not even married! But he was mad, as my "rat" said. He was completely insane, even intimidating. I was going to try and run and at one point I actually wish he'd call the scouts because this was worse than anything they can do to me. After a long interrogation or so It seemed to me, he let me go. Just like that. I dropped the skull in the process of leaving, but he just let me go. Few days later I returned to apologize to him, which I wouldn't normally do" he stopped noticing his sister is making the cute face, as if she is glad her brother has some conscious to apologize from a spark he was about to rob.
"That's enough. Now go to school" He got up and turned around. He didn't want to look like a weakling in the eyes of his sister. She smiled at him and ran off because she was going to be late for the classes, much like her brother was in the days. He smirked and walked in the opposite direction. Despite his behavior, he was happy that Wyatt caught him that night, because otherwise he would have never met such a wonderful friend.

I really like this drawing. I had to do it. First because I insulted something the "owner" of Wyatt loves and I felt bad, so I had to make up to her. And also because I really like how Benedict failed to steal the skull but succeeded in making a friend. And also Im in love with Wyatt's design.
The title is taken from a quote of a League of Legends champion, Thresh, since Wyatt reminds me of him, and if Thresh had a spirit animal it would be Wyatt.
